Overview
Kisspeptin is a naturally occurring peptide central to the body's reproductive hormone axis. Kisspeptin-10 is a shorter active form studied for its effects on reproductive hormones and, in research settings, sexual and emotional brain responses.
How It's Thought to Work
Kisspeptin stimulates the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which drives downstream reproductive hormones such as LH, FSH, and ultimately testosterone/estrogen.
What the Research Says
There is genuine academic human research (notably from Imperial College London) on kisspeptin's hormonal and behavioral effects; consumer 'research chemical' use is separate and far less studied.
